If you have your landline with Virgin Media, you will now be able to make free calls to Virgin mobiles.
Mike Wilson, manager of mobiles and broadband at moneysupermarket.com, commented on the announcement and said that the deal offers good value to existing Virgin Media customers and a good incentive for others to switch their phone deals.

Virgin is the first landline provider to offer free calls to mobile phones, with the
service beginning from April 1st.

Those who do not hold their broadband, landline and TV with Virgin have been advised by the price comparison site to consider subscribing to all three, as it can lead to substantial savings, especially if they plan to make calls to mobile phones on the company’s network.

“Bundling with one provider can still result in big savings of almost £130 a year compared to standalone products,” Mr Wilson stated.

Last month, moneysupermarket.com warned that Britons are wasting millions of pounds each year by using mobile phone tariffs which include more texts and minutes than they need.

The Car Claim accident tool provides step-by-step help through safety and precautions at the roadside and prompts users to get the key information needed for a police investigation or insurance claim after an accident. Users can also take photos and upload their current location.

Managing Director for More Than, Mark Christer, said that during a traumatic experience, it can be easy for drivers to forget what information they need to gather from the scene.

You will not only be able to call loved ones this Christmas, but you will also be able to see them. The Nokia Symbian S60 is also able to support video calls.

This video call feature is embedded within the fring application so that users can make free voice and video calls over a Wi-Fi connection to other fring users, Skype and Gtalk friends, as well as users on regular phone lines through Skype-Out and other SIP services.

The application also allows users to chat, update profiles and share files with AIM, MSN and GoogleTalk instant messaging.
